"My biggest failure is that I am a very busy person and feel that I don't have the time necessary to achieve let alone focus to get the results I want. I work full time (2- 24-hour shifts/week, plus I am in school full-time for nurse practitioner which requires that I spend 80 hours in a clinical setting this semester....this does not include the hours I spend every week sitting in front of my computer working on homework). I am a stress eater and I eat out of boredom! Neither of those is good, I realize."
With her career pursuits and dedication to her family, the hours of each day fly by and self care placed on the back burner. For the first time in 2 years Shannon put herself first by carving out small intervals of time a day for workouts. Just this little tilt of intentional behavior gave her the kick start to drop the pounds and reignite her fitness journey.
Shannon is a great reminder that when you don't live by a traditional 9-5 schedule your workouts and goals can not be traditional. Rethinking workout structure and meal prep is the first step to getting closer to your goals.
Dani is a rockstar mama-to-be who is due with her first little one, Paxton.
When asked her reasons for hiring a trainer during her pregnancy she said, "To help me feel more confident in my ever changing body since I know I’m getting two good workouts in a week. Also hopefully will make my labor easier."

I couldn't be more proud of beautiful lady and new mama! Hannah had a baby on March 2, contacted me right after that, and officially starting working out the first week of May. At the end of six months, Hannah has lost a total of 24 pounds, 30 inches, and 10% body fat! But more than that she is so committed to being healthy for herself and for her family and has never been interested in quick fixes, or shortcuts. She's worked so hard, found a way to work out no matter what, never made any excuses, and is rocking her meal prep! "When a close member of your family, who runs and is great shape, dies unexpectedly it rocks your world to the core. You start wondering, why am I working so hard at being fit when that can happen in an instant! Depression sets in, it’s winter time and you don’t care what you’re eating or drinking. Next spring rolls around, your jeans don’t fit and you wonder what happened. To add, my trainer Amanda, who I adore, moves hundreds of miles away to the east coast and the gym where I was working out regularly closes its doors without notice. Fortunately, I keep in touch with Amanda through FB and see she is starting to do a lot of online training. One day she has a drawing for a free e-book so I decide to enter even though I never win anything. The next day she lets me know I won! I think to myself this is exactly what I need to get started working out again with my trainer. Michelle and I have known each other for a LONG time. A little over a year ago she and my little brother got ENGAGED! She was already in great shape, but wanted to feel healthier and more confident on her wedding day, so we got to work. Her enthusiasm and determination is beyond infectious, and she motivates me every day to be on my A game.

For me it was finally deciding that it was now or never. To make the promise to myself to start living my life. Not just watching everyone else's. I made goals, and I keep reaching them, and making new ones. I'm a snowboarder! At the age of 44 I have taken up a new hobby, usually for the young. But I have found that I am very young at heart! And this winter traveled to Whistler Canada with my family and joined them in snowboarding, instead of watching from the sidelines! I'm happy!

I say all the time that my clients are my inspiration. And I mean it. Terese is the absolute definition of inspiration. She has taken control of her life, of her future. She has good days and not so good days just Ike the rest of us, but she never lets anything stop her from pushing forward. Some days that means getting on the elliptical at home by herself and some days that means she does the crazy things I ask her to do. And she does them. Always. Full out. No complaints.
